NEW YORK- JFK AIRPORT TRANSFER

The John F Kennedy International Airport It is located in Queen's, New York (20km south-east of lower Manhattan) and is the busiest international gate to the United States. It has six separate terminal buildings, numbered 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8 (terminals 3 and 6 were demolished) and they are placed in an anti-clockwise circle:

Terminal 1: airlines from Europe and some from Asia
Terminal 2: Delta Airlines flights only
Terminal 4: Delta Airlines flights, many Asian Airlines flights and some from Europe.
Terminal 5: only JetBlue.
Terminal 7: mostly, British Airways flights and some international and American freight transport companies.
Terminal 8: Mostly, flights from American airlines, plus some freight transport companies from Europe, Asia and America.

If you have flights with a layover at another Terminal, you will have to exit security, then walk or use a bus or train to get to the other terminal. Then through security - so be sure to go early so you don't miss your connecting flight.

To go to another terminal, AirTrain JFK Shuttle takes you between terminals, parking lots, car rental center and external stations in Jamaica and Howard Beach for connections to public transport. It is free for trips within the airport, but you will have to pay for connections to other train stations.
